Current Projects:

Anglo-Estonian duo Eva Väljaots & Robbie Sherratt who write and perform music rooted in Estonian and English folklore. Sharing an affinity for improvisation and spontaneity, the duo takes inspiration from the natural world’s greatest improvisers, imitating and interpreting the soundscapes of vast marshes to tiny beetles.

Helsinki Cèilidh Band, a collective of musicians from Scotland, England, Cornwall and Finland who teach and accompany folk dances from all over the British Isles. The band was founded in 2013 in Helsinki, while the band members were studying folk music at the Sibelius Academy.

Helstringy, an old time band comprised of North Carolina banjo player, Forrest Oliphant, Arkansas guitarist Mayim Alpert and English fiddler Robbie Sherratt. The Helsinki based trio teach and accompany contra dances.
